  I had an appointment to dig out basal cell carcinoma. I was very apprehensive. After waiting forty-five minutes, I asked the front desk how much longer do I have to wait, or if I should reschedule. Fifteen minutes later, I finally was seen by the doctor. I was very nervous by then. When Dr. Dhiman looked at the area she couldn't figure out were it was! She had written a vague description ( at the base of the neck) so she asked me which of the three red spots it was. I told her the one I knew it was and she told me she didn't think I was right. (Then why did she ask me?) I was incredulous and told her I couldn't believe she couldn't tell. Well that unleashed a barrage from her that was very unprofessional. She said "Yelling at me and my staff " was uncalled for. I never raised my voice once. I guess no one has ever questioned her abilities before, because she was defensive. She said she could tell my derm. Dr. to "Keep an eye on it". I can do that myself, I thought. They did refund the cost of the surgery, but still charged me for the consultation for a procedure that did not occur. Needless to say, I won't be going back. P.S. This is not the first time I have had a problem with this practice. Five years ago, I went into the same practice. A different doctor dug cancer out of my shin. It was healing fine until I went into a follow up. After they looked at it. it became infected. They said it just looked fine to me because the infection was under the healed skin. Well how did that happen? After digging the infection out, I was prescribed pain medication that was on my chart, that I was allergic to. After a trip to my internist, I was told that medication was the worst thing he could have prescribed to me. When I complained to the office manager, nothing was done. No refund, no help paying for my internist bill. When I called the office for the latest problem, guess what? They don't have an office manager.
